Real estate has been part of my family’s story for a long time.

My family relocated from New York City to Orlando in the late ’80s, and I grew up watching my mom navigate the Central Florida real estate market as a real estate agent. That foundation shaped how I think about housing — not as a transaction, but as a decision that affects everything.

Then 2008 happened...

For those who don’t remember — between 2008 and 2010, the U.S. experienced one of the worst housing and financial crises in modern history. Millions of families lost their homes to foreclosure. Property values collapsed overnight. People who had done everything “right” found themselves underwater on mortgages, stuck in bad leases, or displaced entirely. It was devastating — and it hit hard right here in Central Florida.

Like a lot of families, we felt it. And we fought back. That experience didn’t break us — it taught us exactly what bad timing, bad contracts, and bad advice look like up close.

I spent the next 18 years working inside real estate foreclosure litigation as a legal assist and paralegal — watching what happens on the back end when housing decisions go wrong. I’ve reviewed thousands of cases. I know what a bad lease looks like. I know what a predatory contract looks like. And I know what it costs people when no one was in their corner.

That’s what I bring to every client now.

I’m not just an agent who got licensed and started posting listings. I’m someone who grew up in this market, survived the worst of it, and spent nearly two decades learning what most agents never see. Now I use all of that to help people move smarter — whether that’s finding the right rental, buying at the right time, or knowing when to wait.
